Introduction to Pro Make-up Artistry (On Campus)

The Introduction to Pro Make-Up Artistry is a 6 week intensive course that is run on-site at one of our 3 Academy locations. This extensive course is run through a blended training model and is designed to further enhance your educational experience with Kryolan and empower you with the confidence and skills to become a great make-up artist.

It consists of the following components:

1) 6 Weekly 7-hour theory, demonstration and supervised hands-on practical session,

2) A series of online modules, that include in-depth written theory, step-by-step written get-the-look guides and pre-recorded video content

All of our online components are available through our professional online learning platform. Once the course goes live you will receive your personalised username and password, allowing you access to all of our online content 24/7.

To support your journey and to make sure you get as much as you can out of the Introduction to Pro Make-Up Artistry course, you will continue to have access to this education platform for 1 year. You can re-watch, review to re-inforce your learning & continue to build your confidence.

As this is a professional course, you will be required to successfully complete all of the modules, practicals, quiz and assessment tasks along with attending our weekly on-campus sessions to obtain your certificate.

Course Outline

Discover the principles, products, application tricks and techniques through the following make-up modules;

• Make-up Health, Hygiene and Safety – Hygiene Practices are of the utmost importance in this industry, let us take you through the dos, don’ts, tips and tricks!
• Colour Theory, Colour Correction, Skin Analysis & Skin Preparation – Learn how to apply colour theory principles to colour correction and skin analysis, as well as how to correctly prep different skin types for makeup application.
• How to Create the Perfect Base every time – Undertones, Formula, Shades and Concealing OH MY! Learn everything to perfect that base!
• Contouring Techniques with Light & Shade – Learn to structure, identify face shapes and create harmony in the face.
• Basic Beauty to Glamorous & Creative Eye Techniques – Learn different techniques that are designed to balance and emphasise the eye area and colour!
• Precision Skills for Liner, Lashes & Lips – Learn how to add those perfect finishing touches to any make-up.

As a part of the $2,999 course fee, you will receive a custom kit valued at over $1200 with everything included to make sure your make-up journey, throughout this course and beyond, is a success.  You will also receive great student discounts of up to 25% off for any of your additional kit and product needs as you advance in your studies.

Course Duration

Each module is taught via a weekly 7-hour face to face on campus class with one of our Senior Artists & Educators, you will be further supported and also have access to our professional online learning platform that contains in-depth written theory, step-by-step written get-the-look guides and video content, and many more additional resources.

You will be able to complete the online content at your own pace each week. It is essential that you have completed the relevant module prior to attending the classroom in order to keep up with the sessions.

Each module will take anywhere between 15 to 30 hours to complete (this includes the practicals, quiz/assessment) plus the 7 hour weekly on campus classroom session.

Please note this is a 6- week course with a blend of on campus and online modules, on campus and online assessments and weekly classroom sessions running every week throughout the duration of the course.

Students are required to successfully complete all modules, assessments and attend all classroom sessions in order to obtain their Certificate in the Introduction to Pro Make-up Artistry..

You will receive an email from the Kryolan Academy Team with your direct link, username and password to access the course on the day of the commencement of the course.

Study now - pay later option with Humm available. A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due at the time of application to secure your position within the class. Full payment is required two weeks prior to the commencement of the course or at the time of application when within two weeks from start date.

Cancellations & Refunds: Please note that once the course has been purchased if you need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances you can obtain a refund OR request to join our next intake. The $250 deposit is non-refundable. Make-up Kits valued at $1200 are sent after course commences and are not refundable at any time in the event you cancel your enrolment. If you wish to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances and the course has commenced there will be a fee of $400 per week of attendance. You can defer your studies and join our next intake without penalty.

TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Please note this is a 6- week course with a blend of on campus and online modules, on campus and online assessments and weekly classroom sessions running every week throughout the duration of the course.

Students are required to successfully complete all modules, assessments and attend all classroom sessions in order to obtain their Certificate in the Introduction to Pro Make-up Artistry. Students are responsible to catch up on any missed sessions using the online learning materials provided.

Payment Options Available:

• FULL PAYMENT: Full payment upfront using direct deposit or PayPal or Credit Card paid online or in stores.
• DEPOSIT, THEN PAY IN FULL: A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 must be paid to secure your place in this course. Simply pay by selecting "Deposit Only" option here or Please call respective location to enroll using this option.
• PAYMENT PLAN is available using HUMM, you can spread the payment over 20 weeks and for as little as $150 / week. You can enroll using this option online or in stores.

MAKE-UP KIT - RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY

• Product issues in the kit must be reported to Kryolan within 48 hours receiving the kit. Request for replacement of the products will only be accepted with proof of photograph.
• Makeup kit is valued at $1200. In the event of withdrawal from the course, Makeup kits is only refundable and can be returned if the student has not commenced accessing the course, products have not been opened and are in its original condition.
• Makeup cases, trolleys have 6 months warranty for manufacturing defects and 3 months warranty for Makeup bags and makeup brushes. Warranty doesn’t extend to faults and damages due to incorrect use of the products.
• Student is responsible for the freight cost of returning the makeup kit.
• The make-up kit and the course are sold as one package. The makeup kit can not be refunded and returned without student withdrawing from the course.

KRYOLAN ACADEMY CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY ( ON CAMPUS )

Request for withdrawal and refund must be in writing to academy@kryolan.com.au. Refund will be refunded within 4 weeks from the date of refund being approved.

Students can request withdrawal midway through the course; however Makeup kit is only refundable if the products have not been opened and are in its original condition.

Students will have  access to the course for a duration of 12 months; students  can request to extend the access to the course for a further 12 months under special circumstances.

The total course fee of $2999 consists of a non refundable administration charge of $250.

The course fee component is $2400 out of the total charge of $2999. The course fee minus the non refundable administration charge of $250 will only be refundable if the course has not been accessed in the event of the student requesting  to withdraw  from the course.

All learning materials on the learning platform are the property of Kryolan Australia Pty Ltd. Student must not reproduce and re-use the materials on the platform outside the purpose of the course enrolment & obtaining the certificate without Kryolan Australia’s written explicit consent.
