We are thrilled to announce an exclusive partnership with TMT Education, offering this course as an official Micro-credential for the Cert III in Makeup. This provides learners with options to upskill, gain accreditation, or simply learn for fun. To enrol in the certified Micro-credential pathway, students can visit TMT's website.

Classes are held with TMT's Cert III in Makeup, offering students the opportunity to mix and mingle with like-minded individuals from all backgrounds. If a student decides they would like to continue their study to TMT's Accredited path, please speak with the TMT team further.

It consists of the following components:

1) 6 Weekly 7-hour theory, demonstration and supervised hands-on practical session,

2) The 6 weekly 7 hour full day face to face class is further supported by a series of online modules, that include in-depth written theory, step-by-step written get-the-look guides and pre-recorded video content

Pre-Requisites

1. Completion of Kryolan Certificate in Introduction to Pro Make-Up Artistry or the Certificate in Beauty and Glamour previously provided through our on campus learning. [Please note students who completed our special Online Certificate in Fundamental Make-Up Techniques course in 2020 are required to undertake further live online or in class sessions and assessments through our Kryolan Certificate in Introduction to Pro Make-Up Artistry. Students can enroll in this course and complete the additional requirements at special discount prior admission to the Advanced Certificate in Professional Make-Up Artistry Course.]

Course Outline

Discover the principles, products, application tricks and techniques through the following make-up modules;

Week 1: Photogenic Fundamentals & Bridal Beauty

• Black & White Photography: Mastering makeup techniques that translate flawlessly for monochrome film and photography.

• Classic Bridal: Focusing on skin preparation, natural tones, and creating long-lasting makeup.

Week 2: Creative & Character Design

• Fantasy Makeup: Exploring thematic looks from different eras and creative, conceptual styles.

• Film Makeup: Applying natural to character-based makeup, with consideration for on-set lighting.

Week 3: Expressive & Theatrical Techniques

• Avant-Garde: Pushing creative boundaries with artistic concepts and techniques like white bases.

• Theatre Makeup: Learning essential skills for basic to character makeup for the stage.

Week 4: Airbrush Mastery I: The Foundation

• Airbrush Basics: Machine maintenance, skin preparation, and mastering fundamental shapes (lines, circles).

• Natural Application: Achieving seamless color matching, foundation application, and subtle contouring.

Week 5: Airbrush Mastery II: Advanced Applications

• Mature Skin Techniques: Flawless application for mature clients, such as "Mother of the Bride" looks.

• Tattoo Coverage: Advanced color correction and techniques for full, long-lasting tattoo coverage.

Week 6: Airbrush Mastery III: Bridal Artistry

• Bridal Airbrush: Specialized techniques for creating a perfect, durable, and photo-ready bridal look.

Cost is $2,499 which includes a professional starter kit value over $800 to take home.

All tools and makeup required by the course are in this take home kit and provided in the class.

Alternatively, you can opt to enroll in this course without the take home kit for $2,000.

A Certificate of attainment is gained on the successful completion of this Advanced Certificate Course in Pro Make-up Artistry

Students must be 16 years of age or over at the starting date of the course.

Course Duration

The Advanced Certificate Course in Professional Make-Up Artistry runs for 6 weeks (1 module per week).

Students are required to successfully complete all modules, assessments and attend all classroom sessions in order to obtain their Advanced Certificate in Pro Make-up Artistry

Payment Options Available:

• FULL PAYMENT: Full payment upfront using direct deposit or PayPal or Credit Card. You can enroll and pay online here or enroll and pay in stores.
• DEPOSIT, THEN PAY IN FULL: A non-refundable deposit of $250.00 must be paid to secure your place in this course. You can pay the deposit online by selecting the Deposit Only option here or simply call respective location to enroll using this option.
• PAYMENT PLAN is available using HUMM, you can spread the payment over 20 weeks and for as little as $150 / week. You can enroll using this option online or in stores.

A non-refundable deposit of $250 is due at the time of application to secure your position within the class. Full payment is required two weeks prior to the commencement of the course or at the time of application when within two weeks from start date.

Cancellations & Refunds: Please note that once the course has been purchased if you need to cancel due to unforseen circumstances you can obtain a refund OR request to join our next intake. The $250 deposit is non-refundable. Make-up Kits valued at $800 opened and used after course commences and are not refundable at any time in the event you cancel your enrolment. If you wish to cancel due to unforseen circumstances and the course has commenced there will be a fee of $400 per week of attendance. You can defer your studies and join our next intake without penalty.
