Soft Putty is suitable for general sculpting. It has especially good adhesion characteristics. A great product for out of kit special effects. It is very light weight preparation and much higher grade product than wax. It is much more malleable than wax.
It is simpler application product when compare to Artex / 3rd Degree silicon preparation. Although soft putty is a different texture, it can be a much more efficient when it comes to making major changes to the faces. You can use it as an economic version of 3rd degree or artex.

Soft putty is for sculting and shape straight on to the face. It is very light weight preparation and much higher grade product than wax. It is much more malleable than wax. And it has especially good adhesion characteristics.
This product should not be compared with wax, it has totally different texture, properties. It is simpler application product when compare to Artex / 3rd Degree silicon preparation. Although soft putty is a different texture, it can be a much more efficient when it comes to making major changes to the faces. You can use it as an economic version of 3rd degree or artex.
Use a palette knife to remove the putty, place it on the skin, and shape it there. Then moisten the fingers with gel, and smooth out the surface of the putty. Smooth and level the edges. Apply Translucent Powder. Thinly coat the surface of the putty with Sealer, and then apply color make-up as required.
